Its not all bad news for trick or treating as rain is set to clear some area just in time.
With the ground so heavily saturated at the moment Mondays rainfall amounts will cause flooding in places rather quickly one of the mainly reason for the status yellow rainfall warnings been issued.

Looking at the forecast in more detail for Halloween evening and night let look at what places will see the best chances of having dry weather.
Rain clearing western areas by the evening
Rain will clear western area by the start of the evening with dry weather developing across Connact, Much of Munster and west Donegal.
Rain should start to clear central parts of the country during the start of the night from around 21:00hrs. At this point the western half of the country will be dry for a few hours. There is some uncertainly and there is a chance rain may clear to the east a little more earlier which would be good news,
Come midnight it will be dry everywhere away from north-eastern and eastern coastal counties. Another period of rain or showers will moving into the southwest after midnight.
