GORSE FIRES IN WEST DONEGAL DESTROY HOUSES THIS AFTERNOON WITH MORE AT RISK
A massive gorse fire has broken out in west Donegal today destroying two houses with fire fighters battling to save a number of other houses.
The gorse fire started in the Annagry area around Drumnacart.

8 units of the Donegal Fire service where tasked to the area and are currently battling the fires to help save more homes and building going on fire.
The fire has now spread to large area which firefighters are finding hard to get under control.

Further fire units have been tasked to the area along with locals who are also helping to try and bring the gorse fire under control this afternoon.
Thankfully nobody has been injured in the fires.

I was in Albufeira Portugal I was waiting for the full moon to come up and it did not let me down.
The orange and red tints that the Moon sometimes take on rising and setting are caused by the particles in the Earth's atmosphere. When light (or more specifically, packets of light called photons) from an astronomical object passes through the Earth's atmosphere, it scatters off of particles in the latter.
What a unbelievable night and morning out storm chasing, These number of thunderstorms had to be the best in years as most of the lightning was CG bolts. I even manage to captures Two to three CG bolts in one shot.
