BREAKING NEWS - MAJOR FIRE BREAKS OUT AT WORLD FAMOUS PARIS CATHEDRAL NOTRE - DAME
A "terrible" fire has broken out at the Notre-Dame cathedral in Paris, forcing President Emmanuel Macron to cancel a major speech.
Plumes of smoke poured from one of the historic landmark's steeples, as flames leapt out besides its two bell towers and the steeple.
A city hall spokesman said the area was being cleared, while the fire department added a major operation was under way.

Paris mayor Anne Hidalgo urged the public to "respect the security perimeter" around the cathedral while emergency services tackle the "terrible fire".

It was not immediately clear what caused the blaze.
Local media reported that police were treating the incident as an accident.
The cathedral dates back to the 12th century and is famous for featuring in Victor Hugo's classic novel the Hunchback of Notre-Dame.
It attracts millions of tourists every year.
Notre-Dame was in the midst of renovations, with some sections under scaffolding, while bronze statues were removed last week for works.

I was in Albufeira Portugal I was waiting for the full moon to come up and it did not let me down.
The orange and red tints that the Moon sometimes take on rising and setting are caused by the particles in the Earth's atmosphere. When light (or more specifically, packets of light called photons) from an astronomical object passes through the Earth's atmosphere, it scatters off of particles in the latter.
What a unbelievable night and morning out storm chasing, These number of thunderstorms had to be the best in years as most of the lightning was CG bolts. I even manage to captures Two to three CG bolts in one shot.
