A SETTLED WEEK COMING UP WITH HIGH PRESSURE IN PLACE AND RAINFALL AMOUNTS BELOW NORMAL

After whats been a unsettled June finally last week Ireland seen some nice warm weather with a omega block and Spanish plume bringing in very warm air to Ireland the warmest of the year so far with temperatures getting up as high as 28C in the southwest of Ireland.and 27C in the northwest Ireland.

The new week ahead looks good to but not as warm with highs during the week between 16C to 22C with plenty of dry weather around too. There will also be good spells of sunshine but some cloudy periods around to at times with rainfall amount below normal.

For farmers it will be a good week for doing hey with plenty of dry days in the forecast with the best of these between Tuesday and Thursday but Monday and Friday will not be to bad either apart from a few light showers over both days to start the week and end the week. The weekend does not look to bad either with plenty of dry weather around but with the higher risk of showers when we come near the end of the weekend.

At present heading into July there is no signs of any other real warm spells yet but temperatures should remain near normal for the month with some good dry days in the forecast but not totally dry.

MONDAY 1ST JULY 2019

Monday will start of with a few showers across Ulster and Leinster but these light, over the afternoon it will be dry everywhere and it will become brighter with sunny spells after a cloudy start. Temperature will range between 15C to 20C.

Monday night will be dry everywhere with clear spells across Ireland. Temperatures will range between 9C to 11C

TUESDAY 2ND JULY 2019

Tuesday high pressure will sit over Ireland keeping the weather dry for a few days with rainfall levels below normal. Tuesday will be a dry day nationwide with a mixture of cloud and some sunshine. Temperatures over the day will range between 15C to 19C.

Tuesday night will be dry across Ireland with some fog and mist in places. Temperatures overnight will range between 7C to 10C.

WEDNESDAY 3RD JULY 2019

Wednesday will be another dry day across Ireland with a mixture of cloud and sunny spells. Temperatures on Wednesday will range between 16C to 20C.

Dry overnight with clear spells , Temperatures will range between 7C to 11C.

THURSDAY 4TH JULY 2019

Dry again on Thursday with a mixture of sunshine and cloud across Ireland, Feeling a little warmer too with temperatures ranging between 17C to 22C.

Dry overnight with a mixture of clear and cloudy spells best of the clear spells over the southern half of Ireland. Some northern parts may see some light drizzle for a time.

FRIDAY 5TH JULY 2019

Friday again looks mostly dry for many parts of Ireland over the northern half of Ireland it looks mainly cloudy with the best of any sunshine across south Munster.

Some light rain or drizzle could effect parts of Ulster during the day at times. Temperatures will range between 16C to 22C.

OUTLOOK 5TH OF JULY ONWARD

The weekend looks set to see a lot of dry weather with high pressure in place over the weekend, there will be some sunny spells around but some cloud to at times. By the end of the weekend on Sunday there may be the risk of a few thundery showers.
