UP TO 6000 HOME WITH NO POWER AS STORM HITS IRELAND WITH THE NORTHWEST WORST EFFECTED AND TREES DOWN
Up to 6000 homes and business are with no power tonight across the northwest, west and southwest of Ireland as a period of strong winds effect the county. worst effected areas have been Donegal, Leitrim and Sligo where up to 3000 homes and business have been left with no power.
Worst effected areas have been Rossgeir just outside Lifford Donegal where 1011 have been effected. 97 have been effected in Milford.
Manorhamilton Leitrim there has been 1593 effected and 205 in Enniscrone Sligo.

Strongest gusts recorded to date have been at Mace head Co.Galway of 126km/hr and at Malin Head Donegal with a gust at 8:00pm of 119km/hr and 122km/hr at 9:00pm

A number of trees are down on roads to the west of the country:
DONEGAL: Road blocked between Devlinmore, Carrigart and Cranford. Tree blocking entire road. Emergency services on scene.
Also tree partially blocking road between Lifford and Letterkenny, with further tree branches down on the dual carriageway inbound to Letterkenny
FERMANAGH :Branches down all along the beleek, Kesh boa island road, trampoline in the hedge about 3/4 mile out the beleek/ boa island road, few branches down on the omagh road and Loughmuck road also. Drive with caution.
GALWAY: The N59 is blocked at Roscahill as emergency services remove a fallen tree and power lines.
A number of trees are down on the N65 between Loughrea and Killimor. Drive with care along that stretch.
SLIGO: A fallen tree is blocking one lane of the N16 approx. 4km from Sligo Town. Caution on approach.
The Sligo/Dromahair Rd (R286) is partially blocked by a fallen tree at the turn-off for St Angela’s College near Hazelwood.
A fallen tree is partially blocking the Sligo/Rosses Point Rd (R291) at Ballywheelin, just outside Rosses Point.
Emergency services have cleared a fallen tree from the Sligo/Calry Rd (R278) approx. 1.5km from Sligo Town.
CLARE: There is debris on the N18 northbound at J7 Sixmilebridge.
KERRY: Kilcummin Rd in Killarney is blocked by a fallen tree.

I was in Albufeira Portugal I was waiting for the full moon to come up and it did not let me down.
The orange and red tints that the Moon sometimes take on rising and setting are caused by the particles in the Earth's atmosphere. When light (or more specifically, packets of light called photons) from an astronomical object passes through the Earth's atmosphere, it scatters off of particles in the latter.
What a unbelievable night and morning out storm chasing, These number of thunderstorms had to be the best in years as most of the lightning was CG bolts. I even manage to captures Two to three CG bolts in one shot.
One of the most beautiful views of Slieve league From sea and got some nice photos.
