STATUS YELLOW WEATHER ADVISORY FOR FOR HEAVY RAINFALL AND HAZARDOUS CONDITIONS FOR SATURDAY
On Saturday another deepening area of low pressure will pass near Ireland bringing the risk of strong winds at present strongest winds look likely to be over the southern half of Ireland where there will be the risk of some severe gusts for a time. There is a lot of uncertainty yet and the strong winds may stay just of the south coasts of Ireland out to sea.
There also will be the risk of heavy rainfall and totals in a short period of time which will bring the risk of spot flooding in places. The area of low pressure will move into the southwest of Ireland around Lunchtime Saturday and clear northeastwards over Scotland on Saturday night. There will also be a spell of heavy rain and strong winds across England, Wales and Scotland on Saturday into Sunday with the risk of rainfall turning to snow over parts of Northern England and Scotland as the rainfall meets colder
There will be the risk that heavy snow and blizzards may develop across Scotland and northern England with a risk of freezing rain in places. Across northern England and southern Scotland, snow may turn to freezing rain above 200-300 metres leading to widespread ice developing on Saturday night. 2-5 cm of snow is likely at lower levels, whilst higher ground could see 10-20 cm.

Met Eireann have also issued a Status Yellow weather advisory for Ireland for Severe and hazardous weather conditions for Saturday.

I was in Albufeira Portugal I was waiting for the full moon to come up and it did not let me down.
The orange and red tints that the Moon sometimes take on rising and setting are caused by the particles in the Earth's atmosphere. When light (or more specifically, packets of light called photons) from an astronomical object passes through the Earth's atmosphere, it scatters off of particles in the latter.
What a unbelievable night and morning out storm chasing, These number of thunderstorms had to be the best in years as most of the lightning was CG bolts. I even manage to captures Two to three CG bolts in one shot.
