WEATHER ADVISORY

A Spell of heavy rainfall is expected to move in of the Atlantic on Monday night and Tuesday morning moving from south to north across Ireland. On Monday night and Tuesday morning the rain will lead to the risk of spot flooding on some roads along with poor driving visibility & road conditions. up to 25mm to 30mm could fall in a short period of time.

Strong and Gusty winds are also expected as Storm Helene moves into the south of Ireland on Monday night and passes up over Ireland overnight into Tuesday morning. Wind gusts of up to 125km/hr could be possible around some coastal areas of the south, southeast and east for a short time if the storm passes up over the center of the country with the main wind field to the south and east of the depression. If the center of the depression move up just of the west of Ireland then these sort of winds would also be possible in the southwest and west also. inland areas will see wind gusts of up to 100km/hr. It is yet to early to tell what path it will take so I will keep you updated over the weekend.

To the western side of the low the heaviest falls of rain will occur. I will update again this weekend.

full moon over rising over Albufeira, Portugal
from €30.00

I was in Albufeira Portugal I was waiting for the full moon to come up and it did not let me down.

The orange and red tints that the Moon sometimes take on rising and setting are caused by the particles in the Earth's atmosphere. When light (or more specifically, packets of light called photons) from an astronomical object passes through the Earth's atmosphere, it scatters off of particles in the latter.
