TEMPERATURES SET TO RISE TO 26C ON TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY ACROSS IRELAND

Temperatures across the west and northwest of Ireland are set to rise into the into the mid 20s on Tuesday and Wednesday and could reach as high as 26C to 27C across parts of the west and north west over the day with nice sunshine also in the forecast.

UV levels will also be high over both days with a high risk of  burning.

Thursday and Friday are also set to be very warm days with temperatures again in the low 20s possible getting as high as 24C. durning the days with the warmest temperatures again across the west and north of Ireland.

Eastern areas will be that bit cooler due to a easterly breeze keeping temperatures that bit lower but over all temperatures ranging between 18C to 21C there.

Elsewhere temperatures across the rest of ireland will get up into around 20C to 23C with nice warm sunshine.
