July 27th into morning of the 28th of Jully Ireland will get the view a Lunar eclipse. The Lunar Eclipse occurs on Friday 27th of July 2018 and will begin at 9:35pm that night. The eclipse will be all ready on going as it rises to the south east that night and will be at Maximum Eclipse when it comes into view.
What is the Maximum eclipse?
9:40pm - Maximum in This is the moment when the eclipse reaches its greatest magnitude while the entire Moon is above the horizon in Ireland and the UK. The true maximum point of this eclipse cannot be seen in Ireland UK because the Moon is below the horizon at that time.
Since the Moon is near the horizon at this time, we recommend going to a high point or finding an unobstructed area with free sight to Southeast for the best view of the eclipse.

The Total eclipse will then end at 10:13pm Friday 27th July 2018. The total moon eclipse ends close to horizon, so make sure you have free sight to Southeast.
The moon will then go into a phase called a Partial Eclipse ends at 10:13pm and this then will end at 11:19pm and after that we have the Penumbral Eclipse which ends on the 28th of July 2018 at 12:28am.
Another name for this total lunar eclipse is called a blood moon, as the Moon turns red. As the moon leaves the total eclipse phase and enters the Partial Eclipse phase it will turn from red back to it normal colour and this will be all on view to the naked eye.
The big factor will be the weather so let hope we get nice clear conditions like we have been seen the past 3 weeks.
