HIGH PRESSURE IN PLACE OVER IRELAND NEXT WEEK WITH A LOT OF DRY WEATHER AND A RETURN TO FROST

High pressure will be in place over Ireland next week with alot of dry weather around

With Ireland set to avoid another storm this week which was shown potential for Sunday over the week there is light at the end of the tunnel and that is next week will be a much calmer month across the country with high pressure building.

On Saturday night in to Sunday a weather system centered of the south coast of Ireland will bring rain to Munster south Connacht and south Leinster with drier conditions elsewhere across Ireland. Rain will clear southern parts around Midday Sunday with dry and sunny conditions developing across Ireland. No weather warnings will be issued for Sunday as there is not impact from this system which thankfully took a path out over the sea with the rain that will fall over Saturday night and Sunday morning over southern half of Ireland from this system on it northern flank.

On Sunday afternoon we then see high pressure moving in of the Atlantic with that drier and calmer weather developing across the county over the week.

Monday and Tuesday will two calm and dry days across Ireland with sunny spells and temperatures between Temperatures on both days will only range between 11C to 14C feeling very cool. On Monday and Tuesday night lows of 2C to -1C may occur inland with the risk of a grass frost in some areas.

On Wednesday it will be another dry day across Ireland but a little milder than Monday and Tuesday due to a southwesterly breeze with temperatures between 15C to 18C across Ireland. There will be the risk of a few showers over the northwest and northern parts of Ireland Wednesday evening and night.

For then end of the week there will be a lot of dry weather around also with only small amounts of precipitation shown on the latest models as high pressure remains in charge.

Beyond next weekend there are sign it could turn a little colder again heading into October with the risk of wet and windy periods.

Early next week there will be the risk of a slight grass frost so gardeners should take note of this.

I will update on next weekends forecast again midweek next week or if you check the national forecast each morning I will have a update there too.
