WEDNESDAY 16TH OCTOBER 2019

Heavy rain will clear Derry, Tyrone and Fermanagh to the northeast just after dawn with bright and sunny spells for many on Wednesday morning some showers could occur again around lunch time but these will be light and pass quickly to give a bright and sunny afternoon and evening. Temperatures will range between 11C to 15C.

Cloud will increase overnight with further showers developing across parts of Derry, Tyrone and Fermanagh theses mainly after midnight. Temperatures will range between 6C to 8C.

THURSDAY 17TH OCTOBER 2019

A area of low pressure passing near the west coast on Thursday will feed in showers over Derry, Tyrone and Fermanagh over the day with some turning heavy at times with the risk of hail where some isolated thunderstorms will be possible leading to downpours and flooding. The day will be blustery with southwest winds. Temperatures will range between 11C to 14C.

Mainly dry for many parts of Derry, Tyrone and Fermanagh on Thursday night with good clear spells after showers clear later in the evening and early on in the night. Temperatures will range between 5C to 9C.

FRIDAY 18TH OCTOBER 2019

That area of low pressure moves in from the west on Friday and will feed in further showers again over Derry, Tyrone and Fermanagh with the risk of hail where some isolated thunderstorm will be possible leading to downpours and flooding. Temperatures will range between 11C to 14C.

Some dry and clear spells over night Friday but there will be at the risk of showers too. Temperatures will range between 5C to 9C.

SATURDAY 19TH OCTOBER 2019

Saturday will be much cooler due to winds veering northwest to northerly in direction, There will be the risk of showers again over the day these heavy at time over Derry, Tyrone and Fermanagh where there will be the risk of hail. There will be good dry periods to on Saturday with sunny spells. Temperature will range between Temperatures will range between 11C to 14C.

Inland away from coastal areas there will be the risk of frost on Saturday night due to that cooler northwest to north wind. lows of around 0C to 3C with highs of 7C.

OUTLOOK 20TH OF OCTOBER ONWARD

Sunday will see further showers across northern parts but these will be less frequent with mainly sunny spells for all areas on Sunday. Sunday will be rather cool again with that northwest to north wind with frost overnight possible with lows of around -1C to 0C for inland areas.

At present Monday looks set to be a mainly dry day across Ireland but further showers again are possible on Tuesday some of these turning heavy. Later in the week it looks like it will turn a little drier but colder with the ongoing risk of frost and possible hail showers with the risk of sleet on higher slopes.
